The
story goes on. The next day, Congo’s senate approved the eight amendments,
paving the way for Kabila to be reelected even with less than 20 % of votes in
November 2011. Before he left the Congo on 1/12/11, Vice Premier Hui Liang Yu
showered his Congolese hosts with a gift of USD 52 million “with no strings
attached” and Congolese thieves held one of the biggest celebration parties in
Kinshasa. Besides childishness, immaturity, irresponsibility, personal gain,
and immorality, what else would you expect from African politicians? They sold millions
of their own people as slaves for hundreds of years to European merchants, now
they’re selling their own countries to the only bidder with enough cash in
hands!
In
the following weeks and months, the Congolese government secretly sold state
mining assets to obscure investors for undisclosed amounts of money and far
below their market value, causing the Congo to lose several billions of
dollars. Mining and energy contracts were signed with several individuals,
companies, and governments acting as screens to the cover ops. The official
reason: raise enough money to hold elections in November 2011. The unofficial
reasons: (1) perpetuate a kleptocratic and criminal state that would guarantee
Kabila and his entourage zero likelihood to be arrested, indicted, tried, and
sentenced, and (2) assist in the birth of a new colony at the heart of the
African continent.
The
most amateurish and ridiculous scenario accompanied Congo’s elections: stuffed
ballots scattered among rice bags and rodents, broken custody chain from end to
end, ballots left outside to suck the tropical rain, chaos, misery, hell... Days
after the election day, the South African government continued flying stuffed
and marked ballots into the Congo. The conspiracy was about to succeed, with
hundreds of international observers watching in silence Kabila’s reelection. No
need for a brainer. That’s the way Europeans colonized Africa and insulted
African conscience where it hurts the most. You only need to win the hearts, minds,
and souls of a few African tribal chiefs, shower them with gifts and promises,
and the land is all yours!
Now
that the overt and covert operations have triumphed in the Congo, the door is
wide open to repeat it somewhere else on the Black continent. Not only have the
Congolese been ripped off, but also anyone else who advocates for human rights
and decency in international politics and businesses. I call on the Chinese leadership to apologize
to the Congolese people and refrain from any further interference in Congolese
politics. Only a relationship with any country in the world based on mutual
respect is in the best interest of the Congolese people. I fully disapprove all
China's overt and covert operations in the Congo. J’accuse…!
